- With the popular use of smart mobile terminals, it is possible to locate the mobile terminals. The traditional indoor positioning methods often bring about large errors under the circumstance of interference. In this paper, an improved K-nearest neighbourhood method based on ZigBee wireless sensor network is proposed, it selects K nearest database vectors from the minimum distance, and calculate the average of these coordinates as the final location result. The accuracy of indoor positioning is effectively improved, meanwhile, there is no significant increase of the computing time. The effectiveness of the method has been verified in the end.
