Abstract : Lewis base-catalyzed allylic alkylation of MBH adducts with α-SCF3 ketones has been demonstrated to provide an efficient access to a series of highly functionalized scaffolds featuring trifluoromethanesulfinyl motif on a stereogenic carbon.
