- Abstract: Here, we have demonstrated a green and efficient protocol for the synthesis of biologically important 5-aryl-1, 2, 4-triazolidine-3-thione derivatives in excellent yields (92–98%) via two components reactions of aryl aldehydes and thiosemicarbazide at room temperature using biodegradable rice husk derived chemically activated carbon as reusable catalyst under metal and other catalyst-free reaction conditions.
