- Abstract : An organometallic conjugated polymer incorporated with Hg(ii ) has an ultrahigh molecular weight and exhibits good mechanical properties. Abstract : We synthesize an organometallic conjugated polymer with alternating organoboron units and diethynyl Hg(ii ) units, which has an ultrahigh number-average molecular weight ( M n ) of 328 000 and a polydispersity (PDI) of 1.94. Besides its opto-electronic properties, its mechanical properties are reported.
