- Abstract : In a recent study, Yasuda et al. show how liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) under hyperosmotic stress conditions allows cells to react to ubiquitinated proteins and to assemble nuclear, liquid compartments that recruit proteasomes and result in aggregate clearance.
