- Abstract: Some correlations between interatomic bond A–O strain and ferroelectric or antiferroelectric phase transition Curie temperature TC have been revealed for complex perovskite structure oxides (PSO) with composition of A B O 3 and A B β 1 1 B β 2 2 O 3 types using perovskite structure quasi-elastic model. It has been established that both binary and ternary PSO have similar tendency for T C change with increasing interatomic bond A–O strain: first, T C increases and then decreases. At a certain δ A − O value, T C of binary PSO has a maximum for both ferroelectric and antiferroelectric binary perovskites. Nevertheless, for ternary ferroelectrics such maximum is not observed.
