Abstract

Abstract : (Abstracted from N Engl J Med 2019;381:2569–2580) Next-generation sequencing (NGS) can quickly characterize microbes and help scientists understand how they are transmitted. Public health agencies have been utilizing pathogen genomics in order to better identify the cause of infectious diseases.
