- Abstract: In this paper, we study a discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method for solving an elliptic hemivariational inequality for semipermeable media. A priori error analysis is established, and we show that the DG scheme with the linear element reaches optimal convergence order under appropriate solution regularity assumptions. One numerical example is presented to support the theoretical analysis.
