Abstract

Abstract : In article number 2001483, Tongbo Wei, Feng Ding, Peng Gao, Zhongfan Liu, and co‐workers report the direct growth of nano‐patterned graphene on an oxide substrate via selective growth on the c‐plane of a nano‐patterned sapphire substrate, as guided by density functional theory calculations and analogue simulations. The thus obtained nano‐patterned graphene shows potential applications such as high‐performance light‐emitting diodes.
