Abstract

Abstract : The Cover Feature illustrates the danger of electrolyte decomposition in supercapacitors at high cell voltages. This necessitates the careful assessment of the electrolyte electrochemical stability window by protocols reflecting realistic application scenarios such as, e. g., constant voltage lifetime tests.
