Abstract

Abstract : Biochemical signatures of human skin are acquired noninvasively in real‐time with a rapid Raman spectroscopy system. Such a system has been used to evaluate skin cancer diagnosis in a large clinical cohort and prominent results have been obtained that are superior to current diagnostic techniques. This study demonstrated that the diagnostic specificity could be improved further by incorporating patient demographics into the algorithm.
