Abstract

Highlights: Awake, emergency, intervention for an unsecured critical upper airway obstruction is a challenge. Aerosolization and risk of COVID of 19 transmission add to the already existing difficulty. Adequate personal protection and minimum aerosol generation are the keys to the success.
