- Abstract: Parts energy of nonlinear system such as the closed detached response (CDR), primary response (PR), closed detached voltage (CDV), and primary voltage (PV) are resultant of the resonance response interaction and represent their corresponding dynamic characteristics. In this paper, we proposed a promising novel device by integrating a lever-type nonlinear energy sink (LNES) and a levitation magnetoelectric energy harvester (LMEH), to discover the effects of CDR, PR, CDV, and PV on the vibration isolation and energy harvesting. In nonlinear energy harvesting, the weight of the system plays a vital role in improving the accuracy, and hence it cannot be neglected. The root mean square is used to evaluate vibration control and energy harvesting. We used the method of harmonic balance to trace the CDR, PR, CDV, and PV of the system, and numerical results support the harmonic solutions. Specifically, the CDV dramatically increases the voltage of the system. The performance of vibration isolation and energy harvesting has been discussed in terms of the attached mass, nonlinear stiffness, and fulcrum location. Finally, with an appropriate fulcrum location, the performance of LNES-LMEH is compared with the traditional NES-LMEH.
