- Abstract : Photochemistry can play a leading role in the low‐temperature processing of metal‐oxide thin films, affecting the different stages of the chemical solution deposition process. These stages include everything from the synthesis of the precursor solution to the formation of the amorphous metal‐oxygen network in the film and its subsequent crystallization into the oxide phase. The lowering of the processing temperature provides environmental and economic benefits, in addition to technological advantages, such as the integration of functional oxide layers into flexible electronics systems.
