Abstract

Abstract : Finding a sense of belonging in the country of your birth is challenging when one is raised elsewhere. This short reflection poetically examines the repatriation to Cuba of a black women raised in Germany. This a personal story of the joy and pain of such a move, of being a foreigner and yet at home in Havana.
