- Abstract: Used oil spillage are the major problems which threatened the environment. There is need of a substitute to the mineral oil which should environment friendly. In this study, tribological study of Jojoba biolubricant was performed and its performance was compared with the mineral oil (SAE20W40). The biolubricant was blended in the ratio of 5%–20% with a gap of 5%. Up to 10% blend, minimum COF was observed. Maximum COF was observed at 15% and 20% blends. 10% blend also showed minimum wear and total acid number. In comparison to the mineral oil, 10% blend showed improved results in terms of tribological analysis.
