Abstract

Abstract : Many businesses are guilty of underestimating or completely overlooking fundamental digital security requirements, leading to devastating consequences from both a financial and reputational perspective. In fact, a large proportion of headline-hitting data breaches are a result of ill-considered security design choices – the eventual outcome of organisations failing to keep data privacy central to the development process.
