Abstract

Abstract: The treatment of choice for anaphylaxis is intramuscular adrenaline using an adrenaline autoinjector. Over the last decade there have been several developments including new devices, guidelines on adrenaline autoinjectors, concerns around the ability of autoinjectors to deliver intramuscular adrenaline and the availability of generic adrenaline autoinjectors in school. These are discussed further within the article.
