Abstract

Abstract: This special issue of Materials Today: Proceedings contains articles selected from the oral and poster contributions presented at the International Conference on Advanced Light-weight Materials and Structures (ICALMS 2k20) which was held during 6th and 7th March 2020 at Hyderabad, India. This is the first-of-its-kind international conference in India, dealing solely with Light-weight Materials and its Structures. It was organized by the Management of CMR Group of Institutions. This conference was focused on basic academic research related to Innovations & Future Trends in the era of advanced composites, as well as associated industry challenges. Accordingly, papers presented in the conference are included in this proceeding. All articles in this issue have been subjected to a peer-review process based on their originality and quality. It is a great opportunity amongst students, researchers, scientists and also industrial sectors to exchange their idea with others in the knowledge of emerging materials and establish new research networks with new international colleague.
