Abstract

Highlights: We described the first 3 cases of envenoming by T. strandi in Santarem-Pará (Brazil). Clinical manifestations are compatible with neuromuscular/somatosensory dysfunction. There are few manifestations compatible with adrenergic/cholinergic stimulation. It is necessary to study the feasibility of producing a specific antivenom. It is necessary to establish a severity classification for these envenoming.
