Abstract

Abstract : The Front Cover shows our building block in the top quadrant: a metal chalcogenide core with arrows indicating imaginable extension of the system. The ligands on this atomic cluster core can be designed so that substitution is possible. We have shown how this building block can be controllably functionalized with ligands that can be linked in a 1‐dimensional wire, a 2‐dimensional weave, and a 3‐dimensionsional network.
