Abstract

Abstract : In P2‐type layered transition‐metal oxides, high capacity requires more Na ions to join in the transition as the capacity is generated by their transition. But if too much Na + ions move out, the structure would be broken. Achieving the balance between high capacity and well stability is the main point. Problems (e.g., structure evolution and anionic redox) of such cathodes and improving strategies including composition regulation, surface coating, and nano‐structuring to tune phase composition, structure and electrochemical reaction are summarized in the Review of S. Ji, J. Liu et al. on page 7747 ff.
