- Abstract: In the present work, we report the successful synthesis of Iron oxide nanoparticles by efficient, economic and fast solution combustion method. Solution combustion method has been modified for preparation of Fe2 O3 nanoparticles and the influence of fuel to oxidizer ratio, and synthesis temperature has been analyzed for the phase purity. Optical properties of prepared samples have been determined using UV-Visible spectroscopy and optical band gap is obtained using Tauc's Plot. Vibrating sample magnetometer and Mössbauer spectroscopy of the prepared samples were recorded and analyzed for magnetic properties. Magnetic results support and explain the modified properties based on choice of synthesis route.
