- Abstract: Invited for the cover of this issue is the group of Ulrich Schwaneberg at the Institute of Biotechnology, RWTH‐Aachen University and DWI Lebniz Institute of Interactive Materials. The picture calls for special attention to be paid to the extra Cu binding site of Copper efflux Oxidase (CueO), due to its predominant function in tuning the electrocatalytic kinetics towards oxygen reduction. Read the full text of the article at 10.1002/chem.201905598 . Abstract : " The effect of the fifth Cu binding and coordination on the electrocatalysis kinetics towards oxygen reduction is revealed. Interestingly, substitutions work at all four coordinated positions for kinetics manipulation. The reason might be the increase in localized structural stability of the fifth Cu binding site and the decrease of electron transfer distance between the fifth Cu and the T1 Cu, according to the molecular dynamic simulation ."
