- Abstract : A ligand‐free, CuI‐catalyzed protocol was developed for the one‐step preparation of Michael adducts of aromatic thiols in high yields by reacting a mixture of an aryl halide and an electron‐deficient alkene with sodium iso ‐propyl xanthogenate.
