- Abstract : In article number 1907364, Can Ataca, Sefaattin Tongay, and co‐workers apply high pressures to a variety of different kinds of 2D halide perovskites in a diamond anvil cell. The results reveal unusual phase transitions and changes in materials properties that are closely tied to the chemistry of the 2D perovskite layers. This study gives unique insights into such pressure‐induced changes and extends the understanding of these highly anisotropic layered soft organic perovskite materials under extreme conditions.
