- Abstract: Fecal retention in the blind loop of end to side colonic anastomosis can lead to fecaloma without significant colonic distension. Imaging study and colonoscopy examination can assist in making a definite diagnosis. Revision surgery is the last choice when colonoscopic extraction fails.
