- Abstract : The Front Cover shows the efficacy of a nanohybrid containing covalently attached citrate functionalized Mn3 O4 nanoparticles (nanomedicine) for remediation of heavy metal toxicity due to environmental pollution and reckless lifestyle. The nanomedicine chelates the heavy metal and removes it from the body, simultaneously scavenging the oxidative stress generated by the toxicity. While a detailed in vitro spectroscopic study for the heavy metal chelation and ROS scavenging reveals microscopic understanding, a comprehensive in vivo experiment on mice models confirms the efficacy of the nanomedicine in animals.
