Abstract

Abstract : Solar Water Splitting In article number 1900559, Feng Jiang and co‐workers present a 3D air brick‐structured GeSe for advanced photoelectrochemical performance. Prior electrodeposited CdS particles have been found to be effective for the growth of the CdS buffer layer and therefore enhance the solar water splitting performance. The GeSe micro air brick‐based photocathode generates a photocurrent density of −14 mA/cm 2 (0 VRHE ), onset potential of 0.47 VRHE, and a champion half‐cell solar to hydrogen conversion efficiency of 1.47%.
