- All optical two's complement generator for four bit binary numbers and single bit comparator is proposed and analysed using reflective semiconductor optical amplifier (RSOA). We use Soliton bits to implement the device and therefore, find application in long distance communication systems. The performance is analysed in terms of input-output bit patterns, quality factor, pseudo eye diagram, relative eye opening and amplified spontaneous emission characteristics.
