Abstract

Highlights: Intersectional stigma is a persistent barrier to PrEP use among young Black men. Decisions about PrEP use are informed by racism, homonegativity, and HIV stigma. Intersectional stigma contributes to othering, PrEP stigma, and HIV stigma. Intersectional stigma influenced decisions about identity disclosure in healthcare. Social and structural interventions are needed to reduce the sources of stigma.
