Abstract

Abstract : In article number 1902709, Martin Winter, Tobias Placke and co‐workers demonstrate a rechargeable dual‐ion battery based on a hybrid aqueous/nonaqueous electrolyte and a graphite positive electrode, as a new approach for safe and sustainable energy storage. The formation of a stage‐2 bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl) imide graphite intercalation compound as the positive electrode from aqueous electrolytes is shown for the first time, and combined with different negative electrodes to evaluate its impact on stability.
