Abstract : The evidence base supporting cardiac rehabilitation is substantial and overwhelmingly supports its utilization for all qualified patients. However, important lines of inquiry remain and require attention. This commentary provides a model for cardiac rehabilitation centers that provide patient care to meaningfully contribute to our scientific understanding of this lifestyle intervention.
