Abstract : The Mississippi River Valley Alluvial Aquifer is declining at a rapid rate due to withdrawal for agricultural irrigation. This research was conducted to develop a sensor‐based irrigation threshold for cotton that maximizes net returns and irrigation water use efficiency.
