Abstract

Abstract : Improved nitrogen (N) management in corn production is needed to optimize economic returns to farmers and minimize environmental concerns associated with agricultural N use. This study examines the optimum timing and rates of polymer‐coated urea on corn yield and N use efficiency under varying seasonal precipitation on irrigated sandy soils.
