Abstract

Abstract : Growers often have questions regarding the reliability of the commercial soil NPK test kits for understanding their soil's N, P, and K availability. This article compares and evaluates four soil NPK kits—(i) Rapitest, (ii) LaMotte, (iii) Hanna, and (iv) Hach—with standard laboratory methods for analyzing soil available N, P, and K.
