Abstract

Abstract : The dramatic rolling hills of the inland Pacific Northwest (iPNW), formed from deep deposits of volcanic ash and wind‐blown loess, feature some of the world's most productive soils. Alarmingly, a growing trend of extremely low‐pH values in these soils represents a serious threat to land quality, value, and productivity.
