Abstract

Abstract : Information regarding the N‐fertilizer equivalence of manure for winter‐grown crops is lacking. This study set out to determine the inorganic N‐fertilizer value of poultry litter compared with applying urea‐N fertilizer to wheat in late winter and examine the inorganic‐N content in poultry litter‐amended soils at 41, 59, and 77°F.
