- Abstract: The Ba0.2 Sr0.8-y Lay Fe12 O19 (y = 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 & 0.8) (BSLFO) nanorods were prepared via low temperature, and inexpensive hydrothermal method. The presence of hexagonal phases was confirmed using the X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns. The surface morphology revealed the formation of rectangular nanorods for y = 0.2–0.8 contents. Especially, y = 0.8 content showed the complete formation of rectangular nanorods due to high La-content. Furthermore, the dielectric properties, ac-electrical properties, impedance and dielectric modulus parameters were described as a function of composition, frequency and temperature.
