- Abstract: A BHT-regulated chemoselective monofluorination of enaminones with Selectfluor under mild reaction conditions was unveiled for the first time. As a result, an array of monofluorinated chromones were efficiently assembled in a simple operational manner. Moreover, the scalability of this protocol and the versatility for the downstream transformations of the obtained fluorinated chromones to installing diverse nitrogen-containing heterocycles greatly broaden the practical applications of this developed protocol.
