Abstract : Through the combined action of palladium catalysts and chiral phosphoric acids (CPAs) a variety of catalytic asymmetric reactions have been realized during the past decade, including allylation, alkene functionalization, and C–H activation. This review surveys key examples across these various reaction types and examines the different mechanisms by which CPAs can affect stereoinduction in these reaction systems.
