Abstract

Abstract : To overcome the poor cycling stability of promising silicon‐based anode materials the integration of a carbon matrix with silicon‐based (C/Si‐based) anode materials has been implemented as a powerful solution. Recent developments on C/Si‐based composites as well as the forms of the carbon framework (carbon sources and doping of heteroatoms) are presented in the Minireview by J. Yang et al. on page 1488 ff.
