- Abstract : We report highly stable zero-dimensional (CH3 NH3 )3 Bi2 I9 photovoltaic cells which demonstrate a 33% increase in performance after 2 years when hybridized with silicon nanocrystals (SiNCs). Abstract : We report highly stable zero-dimensional (CH3 NH3 )3 Bi2 I9 photovoltaic cells which demonstrate a 33% increase in performance after 2 years when hybridized with silicon nanocrystals (SiNCs). The natural oxidation of SiNCs is expected to consume radical species and improve the SiNC/(CH3 NH3 )3 Bi2 I9 interface and electronic coupling whilst also inhibiting defect-induced degradation.
