- Summary: We describe a challenging patient with postoperative airway compromise who was successfully managed with fibreoptic airway evaluation. We believe that this is an under‐appreciated technology within in the postoperative setting. Greater awareness may promote wider clinical application and in turn avert potential patient harm.
