- Abstract : Fabrication of 2D amorphous nanosheets is a great challenge. In their Communication on page 1600 ff., Q. Xu and co‐workers report a novel method to obtain amorphous molybdenum oxide (MoO3 ) nanosheets. Upon illumination, these MoO3 sheets exhibit tuned surface plasmon resonances in the visible and near‐IR regions. The cartoon characters represent the CO2 molecules, which aid the formation of the amorphous nanosheets. The MoO3 can catch the light that is represented by light beams and light spots.
