- Information system success (ISS) received considerable attention from researchers as it plays an important role in improving the efficiency and productivity of an organisation. Several researchers have conducted empirical studies using numerous factors (e.g., organisational, technological, and individual factors) which affect the information system success. However, there are several factors which are related to institutional information culture and interpersonal conflict which may affect information system success. Therefore, this study proposes a conceptual model for influencing information culture and interpersonal conflict factors on information systems success (ISS). The proposed model consists of three independent dimensions (technological, institutional information culture, and interpersonal conflict) and a dependent dimension (information system success). A number of hypotheses are formulated for measuring relations among the investigated factors. To test our hypotheses, a quantitative method is adapted in data collection and analysis. For collecting data, a structured questionnaire was distributed to a sample of experts from the Ministry of Finance (MOF), Yemen. The target users are always associated with IS in their work (in the MOF). Empirically, the results of this study indicate that there is a highly positive correlation between the independent factors and the dependent factors.
