Abstract

Abstract: This chapter covers selected research in postcolonial theory published in 2017; it begins with books and edited collections before discussing special issues and journal articles. The work here represents the field's interdisciplinarity, bringing postcolonialism into dialogue with the philosophy of voice and of listening, international relations theory, the digital humanities, the energo-humanities, and political philosophy, specifically concerning theories of progress, freedom, domination, and emancipation.
