- Abstract : Enzymatic degradation of DNA origami nanostructures in physiological media is a limiting factor in many biomedical applications. By using high‐speed atomic force microscopy, local variations in DNA origami digestion by DNase I can be assessed at a single‐structure level. As is shown in the cover artwork, DNase I preferentially attacks regions in a DNA origami nanostructure with high flexibility, thus resulting in a strong superstructure dependence of the DNA origami digestion. This offers the possibility to rationally design DNase I‐resistant DNA origami nanostructures. More information can be found in the communication by A. Keller, V.
