- Abstract: This paper is concerned with the delay-dependent stability analysis for linear systems with state and distributed delays. Firstly, based on an integral equality, a new integral inequality is obtained. Then, to show the effectiveness of the new integral inequality, a new delay-dependent stability criterion is derived in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Finally, two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the present result.
