- Abstract: The observation of a technical system condition is closely related to the estimation of its reliability. Theoretical analyses are very often not sufficient, and due to time pressure we are usually made to use accelerated reliability tests. In our article we present the results of an accelerated reliability test performed by the platinum thermal sensor Pt-100. Within the scope of the accelerated test we tested the equivalent of ten-year system operation using the Pt-100. Due to the length and the specific format of the test it was possible to record several failures occurring in the set of the observed/tested Pt-100 sensors. The recorded test results were further analysed and processed applying a time-series analysis. We apply modern and nontrivial dynamic linear models (DLM) based on back propagation recursors. The achieved results using the test and data analysis have not been known yet for the Pt-100 type.
